Garden decorations

Remember how I mentioned we were eating the arugula blossoms? Now we are also cutting them for vases. They smell a little peppery, a little mustardy, bright and clean and herby.

And Jacob snags one for a snack from time to time when he’s passing by.

  1. I missed this post — our “greens” in the trough out front have “blossomed” — so I cut the flowers yesterday and pulled out most of the plants (cut off the leaves first) — I really wasn’t sure what they all were — turns out the little white ones are arugula!! I do have them in a vase (not as big as yours) — along with the little yelllow mustard flowers.
